“If we accept that the symbolic construction of pain and bodily dis-ease, reflects the efforts of the Self to communicate its conflicts, dreams and aspirations, then we are ready to ask how to converse with and minister to the body self”. ~ Dr Leslie Korn Phd

Optimising Body-Mind Wellness to Help You Thrive

Launching Summer 2025
Welcome to my practice: Touch & Flow Bodywork (TAF) a nurturing and safe space in South London (UK) that offers a whole-body, whole-person, centred approach to Therapeutic Bodywork.
Why Choose TAF?
My passion is optimising body-mind wellness and if there’s one thing I’ve learnt it’s that: bodies talk and I’m here to listen.
I provide simple but effective bodywork, that helps the body-mind ‘digest’ and release patterns of stress, strain and injury that have accumulated throughout life, whilst balancing the body, mind and emotions from within.
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including, back pain, whiplash, sports injuries, TMJ, post dental recovery and persistent conditions that may not have responded to other forms of treatment or conditions that can’t be explained and seem to have no apparent cause.
Craniosacral Therapy and Polarity Therapy form the basis of my practice, both of which can be deeply restorative for the nervous system and especially helpful where energetic and emotional balance needs to be restored.
The modalities I offer combine well with most approaches, including talking therapies.
I work with people of all ages from infants to children, teens, adults and elders with a special interest, in supporting the health of families, from Mama’s and Papa’s to babies, children, teens, adults and elders.
A Little About Me
Through my own struggles with an inherited health condition, anxiety, burnout and various health challenges, I’ve gained valuable insight into the power of self-love and natural healing.
My interest in natural healing began in the early 1980’s, when health challenges, set me on an independent learning track.
Like many people experiencing unexplained, health issues, I was unable to find appropriate help and it wasn’t until I began delving into the natural healing arts, that I discovered ways, to begin turning my health around.
As part of changing my life, I completed trainings in therapeutic massage and reflexology and in the early 1990’s, I met my first major bodywork teacher, the late William ‘Dub’ Leigh (USA) master, Rolfer and Feldenkrais practitioner.
It was through Dub’s hands-on teachings of deep tissue bodywork, that I was able to experience in a direct way, how our body is shaped by all of our lived experiences and how patterns of stress and trauma show up in the body as tension and restriction, which blocks optimum flow. I am a kinaesthetic by nature, so I need to do it, feel it, or experience something to truly understand.
Through these experiences, I came to appreciate that, working with the body is often a necessary part of healing and with the help of many fine teachers, I fell in love with this work.
Less Can Be More
Following a severe whiplash injury, Craniosacral Therapy helped me to recover without the long term effects which can occur, if not appropriately treated. Coming from a background in therapeutic massage and deep tissue bodywork, the realization that such a gentle approach, could achieve such efficient and effective results, was an eye opening experience.
Intrigued by the notion of being led by the body and intervening less, yet achieving more, I graduated in Craniosacral Therapy in 1994 and Polarity Therapy in 1999. From these approaches, I learned the importance of healing the nervous system through the body and the reality that, nothing takes place in isolation as everything is interconnected.
