- From above downwards Symptoms may move from the upper body to the lower body as healing progresses. What appeared on the head may go to the chest, then the abdomen, then the legs before resolving entirely.
- In the reverse order the symptoms first appeared The most recent symptoms resolve first whilst older and deeper issues take longer. The symptoms appear to move backwards through the same course they developed, much like a car moving in reverse gear.
