About Me

“The body has its own wisdom and can be trusted”

~ Wyoma – African Healing Dance

“If we accept that the symbolic construction of pain and bodily dis-ease, reflects the efforts of the Self to communicate its conflicts, dreams and aspirations, then we are ready to ask how to converse with and minister to the body self”. ~ Dr Leslie Korn Phd

Harnessing your Body’s Natural Ability to Balance, Repair & Heal from the Inside Out

Re-Launching Autumn 2025

Greetings my name is Sula – the hands, heart and soul behind ‘Touch and Flow Bodywork’.

What I Offer

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt, it’s that: bodies talk and I’m here to listen. On this website you’ll find information about modalities I work with and what to expect when you book a session.

Drawing from my diverse background and over thirty years of experience in the natural healing arts I offer an integrative approach based on listening and creating space for your system to reorganize, reintegrate and realign from within.

Craniosacral Therapy & Polarity Therapy, form the basis of my practice both of which can be deeply restorative for the nervous system and especially helpful where energetic and emotional balance needs to be restored. I also include other modalities as necessary into a session, such as fascial unwinding, therapeutic massage, reflexology, and guidance around cleansing and re-building with food.

I have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including, back pain, whiplash, sports injuries, TMJ, post dental recovery and persistent conditions that haven’t responded to other forms of treatment, that can’t be explained or seem to have no apparent cause.

The modalities I offer combine well with most therapeutic approaches, including talking therapies, often reaching places, that words cannot reach.

I work with people of all ages from infants to children, teens, adults and elders with a special interest, in supporting parents and their children, from the beginning of life.

My Story

I know what it’s like to live in a body that feels like a mystery, where strange symptoms come and go and no-one can quite explain why.

As a young woman in my early twenties, for years I searched for answers and like many people navigating complex health issues, I was told “everything is fine”, whilst my body was screaming otherwise.

Things didn’t begin to shift until I turned towards the natural healing arts. I trained in therapeutic massage and reflexology and for the first time, I felt what it was like to be in my body. Although I didn’t realize it at the time, I was beginning to address how the accumulation of long-term stress can ‘somatise’ into physical symptoms.

In the early 1990’s, I met my first major bodywork teacher, the late William ‘Dub’ Leigh (USA) master, Rolfer and Feldenkrais practitioner. Through Dub’s hands-on teaching, of deep tissue bodywork, I learned how our bodies hold onto everything, the stress we normalise, the grief we suppress and the trauma we inherit, if left unattended.

When I was introduced to Craniosacral Therapy in the mid 1990’s, my eyes were opened to the power of a gentler approach and the recognition that less can sometimes be more. I realized, this was the way I wanted to work with people and with the help of many fine teachers, I fell in love with this work.
