Honouring The Wisdom Of The Body

Opening Autumn 2026

Welcome

Greetings my name is Sula,

Since my initial training in the touch – based healing arts in 1985, if there’s one thing I’ve learned – it’s that: ‘bodies talk’ and I’m here to listen.

Scope of Practice

I help people rest, restore and move towards health, by slowing down and listening inward, with sessions that are quiet, gentle, trauma informed and deeply attuned to your body’s inner capacity, to find balance & health, in its own way and on its own terms.

I have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including, (but not limited to) chronic pain, whiplash, injuries, and imprints of stress and strain that have accumulated throughout life. Persistent conditions that haven’t responded to other forms of treatment, that can’t be explained or seem to have no apparent cause.

I work with people of all ages from infants to children, teens, adults and elders with a special interest, in providing care for mums and babies.

Modalities

Craniosacral Therapy & Polarity Therapy, form the basis of my practice both of which can be deeply beneficial especially where, emotional and energetic balance needs to be restored.

I have experience of working in a variety of settings, including private practice, women’s groups, community projects, a private health retreat and a London hospice where I taught introductory massage skills to nurses and volunteers for 5 years.

My Story

In the early 1980’s health challenges set me on an independent learning track, which profoundly shaped me and led me to the natural healing arts.

In the early 1990’s, I met my first major bodywork teacher, the late William ‘Dub’ Leigh (USA) master, Rolfer and Feldenkrais practitioner, who blended the structural work of Rolfing and Feldenkrais’s awareness through movement with energy work.

Through Dubs teachings, I learned how the body retains the imprint of unintegrated, past events, which can accumulate and show up, years later, as ailments, that can’t be explained, or seem to have no apparent cause.

In the mid 1990’s, I was introduced to craniosacral work, which opened my eyes to the power of subtlety and the reality that, sometimes, less can actually be more.

Hence, my job is to stay open and responsive to what’s appropriate for each person in the moment, on the spectrum from, subtle to robust and deep.
