About Me

“The body has its own wisdom and can be trusted”

“If we accept that the symbolic construction of pain and bodily dis-ease, reflects the efforts of the Self to communicate its conflicts, dreams and aspirations, then we are ready to ask how to converse with and minister to the body self”. ~ Dr Leslie Korn Phd

Providing A Safe Space for Your Body to Be Heard

Opening Summer 2026

Welcome

Greetings my name is Sula,

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, from my experiences in body orientated work, it’s that: ‘bodies talk’ and I’m here to listen.

Modalities

Craniosacral Therapy & Polarity Therapy, form the basis of my practice both of which can be deeply restorative for the nervous system and especially helpful where energetic and emotional balance needs to be restored.

I have experience of working in a variety of settings, including private practice, women’s groups, community projects a health retreat and a London hospice where I taught introductory massage skills to nurses and volunteers for 5 years.

Approach

I hold space for slowing down and listening inward, with sessions that are quiet, gentle and deeply attuned to your body’s innate intelligence, enabling each session to unfold in a way that supports, safety, self-regulation and integration.

I have experience of working with a wide range of issues, including, chronic pain, whiplash, injuries, birth patterns, physical and emotional stress, persistent conditions that haven’t responded to other forms of treatment, that can’t be explained or seem to have no apparent cause.

I work with people of all ages from infants to children, teens, adults and elders with a special interest, in the first, one thousand days of life and providing care for families.

My Story

In the early 1980’s health challenges set me on an independent learning track, that led me to the natural healing arts and body-mind health.

In the early 1990’s, I met my first major bodywork teacher, the late William ‘Dub’ Leigh (USA) master, Rolfer and Feldenkrais practitioner. Dub’s method blended the structural work of Rolfing and Feldenkrais’s awareness through movement with energy work.

Through Dubs teachings, I learned how stress and strain can accumulate in the body as tension and restriction, that can show up, years later, as symptoms that can’t be unexplained or seem to have no apparent cause.

In the mid 1990’s, I was introduced to craniosacral work, which takes the form of very gentle hands-on work. Through craniosacral therapy, my eyes were opened to the power of a subtler gentler approach, which taught me that, sometimes, less, can actually be more, hence my job is to stay open and responsive what’s appropriate for each person.

How I Re-charge

I recharge by investing time in what matters the most to me – Family friends, fun & laughter, solitude, laying on the floor doing nothing ! The outdoors, growing food, learning, innovation, adventure, travel and community events.
